There have been a lot of big changes here at TeamBradley in the last few weeks! The most exciting piece of news is that Bob and his wife, Sami, had their beautiful baby girl on Tuesday, August 26th. Her name is Audrey Dianne and she is 6 lbs. 4 oz. of precious joy. She made her first in-office appearance today, much to everyone’s delight. The family is doing great, Sami is recovering, Audrey is bright and beautiful and Bob is beaming from ear-to-ear.  Lincoln seems to be adjusting to his new family role of Big Brother.  Amy and I are simply very proud grandparents.

The second, piece of news, though not on par with the newest TeamBradley addition, is that we have moved offices. We’re still in Wheaton, but just about 10 minutes north in the heart of the downtown area.  The new space seems like a great stepping stone for growth.  We are already taking full advantage of the restaurant offerings just steps from the office door.  Everyone in the office is worried they’re going to gain 20 lbs. in the first month.

Amy and I are in town for a week to meet our granddaughter and help get the office situated in the new space. I was relieved to get the “all clear” to travel from my doctor right before I left Florida. Our plan was to be in Wheaton for the summer, but my health prevented that from happening.  I’m grateful to be through the worst of it and to be up and moving again. I still have some leg pain, but I have my fingers crossed that it’s just normal residual pain like the surgeon says and that the pain decreases and disappears over time.  I am grateful to my team for all their hard work and efforts to keep the office flowing while I was out and for the great job they did in making the move happen. Thanks Bob, Allie, and Elizabeth.

As we reach the last third of the year we are getting close to the holiday season and the mad rush toward the end of the year. Now is a time that we see a lot of movement in the market as companies realize that they need to hire before the end of the budget year and candidates realize that they need to make a move to follow through on their New Year’s resolution from the beginning of the year.

If you’re an employer, feel free to call or email me to discuss your hiring needs.  At TeamBradley, we’re committed to adding value to your organization. And even if you’re not presently hiring, I would still love to talk with you about your plans for the first half of 2015, the market in general or to help you research salary comparisons for your current staff.

And if you are a potential candidate, we have a wide variety of positions we’re currently working on, and we obtain new career opportunities weekly. If you are contemplating making a job change, give me a call or email me and let’s discuss your career. And please be sure to check out our complete list of Open Positions.

No matter what category you are in, employer or applicant, please look over the articles I have collected this month that I think are helpful tools and information for IT professionals.
