The Short Scoop: My client is looking for a contract Software Delivery Lead / Technical Project Manager to drive delivery across two software development teams supporting high-profile digital technology for a major global brand. This is not an ERP, infrastructure, or status-only PM role, this is hands-on delivery leadership for custom-built digital products, data platforms, releases, risks, dependencies, and Agile execution.

Status: Hybrid -3 days per week onsite

What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage sprint planning, release planning, Agile ceremonies, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
- Keep software delivery moving across two smaller development teams.
- Partner with product, engineering, QA, internal leaders, external contractors, and client stakeholders.
- Review user stories, solution design, technical scope, and delivery impacts.
- Proactively identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, and project variances
- Escalate issues early, communicate clearly, and keep stakeholders aligned with no surprises.
About You
- Be able to do the job as described.
- You love a challenge, pick-up information quickly, organize and assess needs thoughtfully, and you think outside the box!
- 7+ years of experience as a project manager delivering complex applications or software solutions.
- Experienced in managing a budget of $3M+
- Expert understanding of project management practices
- Outstanding communication skills, verbal and written.
- Comfortable leading Agile software teams without needing formal authority.
- Able to understand technical conversations without needing to be the architect.
- Autonomous, quick-learning, self-checking, and able to retain feedback the first time.
- Client-facing enough to present timelines, risks, and delivery updates with confidence.
- Previous experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Product Owner, Developer, or similar technical role is preferred
