What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance sales processes and customer experiences, increasing revenue and improving efficiencies.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle, from conception through launch and beyond, focusing on adding value and achieving key business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales team to integrate their needs and feedback into the product development process.
  • Oversee user research, usability studies, and white space analysis to identify and act on opportunities for new features and functionalities.
  • Drive the adoption of sales tools, ensuring they align with strategic planning and receive the necessary leadership and resource support.
  • Monitor and evaluate product performance, iterating to improve upon metrics and KPIs that reflect sales force effectiveness.

Adding Value

  • Oversee requirements discovery (solution design, user story writing, feature development, and user acceptance testing)
  • Lead Agile teams as the SCRUM master.
  • Work with third-party vendors on key sales initiatives
  • Ensure and conduct high-quality training and change management of Sales products
  • Responsible for Sales & Customer Tool Communication and Promotion
  • Monitor and evaluate product performance
  • Measure Sales & Customer Tool Usage, Adoption & value-based metrics
  • Develop key KPIs and scorecards to measure sales force efficiency
  • Single point of contact for IT to support and lead strategic sales initiatives
  • Report status on and manage key stakeholders

 About You

  • Be able to do the job as described.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in product management, especially within technology-driven business environments.
  • Experienced with sales methodology and processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to think strategically about technology and its business impacts.
  • Prefer experience in a Distribution/Manufacturing and/or Software environment.
  • Previous experience focusing on training and metrics.
