The Short Scoop: Be the hands-on force behind the network connecting my client’s offices, distribution centers, and retail stores. In this newly added role, you’ll install, program, and troubleshoot the infrastructure a growing business relies on every day.
Location: Galesburg, IL
Status: M – Th in office, Fri Remote, Hybrid after onboarding.

Compensation range: $70,000 – $75,000 annually
What You’ll Be Doing
- Running cable, installing access points, programming switches, and maintaining cabinets
- Troubleshooting LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN issues
- Supporting after-hours maintenance windows and rotating on-call
- Maintaining network diagrams, runbooks, and inventory
- Ticketing system experience – prefer ServiceNow or Jira
About You
- Be able to do the job as described.
- Degree in Computer Science or related.
- Passionate about Layer 1 work, with working switching and routing knowledge
- Comfortable on ladders and lifts, lifting 25 lbs
- Exposure to microwave, cellular, and next-generation firewall technology
- Willing to travel up to 15%
Preferred
- CCNA, CCNP, Network+ certifications.
- Experience with SD-WAN and cloud technologies
