The Short Scoop: Exciting paid internship for a Computer Science student entering their senior year of college. TeamBradley is partnering with our client company to build a team of three students for a 7-week paid internship. Required experience includes coursework/project work in JavaScript. Preferred frameworks are React and Angular.

Location: Woodridge, IL area

Must live local and the western suburbs of Chicago, IL are ideal.

Status: Onsite – June 15th thru July 31st

Company pay: $25 an hour

US Citizen or Green Card only

You are working on your bachelor’s degree; this is an excellent opportunity to add to your college resume of experience. You’ve learned JavaScript and you are ready to put it to work.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Partner with 2 fellow interns and work under a program manager, the company’s Engineering Director. The project: A single page application (SPA) in JavaScript, connected to a relational database, built in an agile sprint structure with weekly code reviews and stakeholder demos.

  • Be able to do the job as described.
  • Obtaining a degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • You are an up-and-coming college senior.
  • JavaScript project work (and coursework) is a prerequisite for this internship. You’ve done it, and you are ready to apply it!
  • JavaScript frameworks – React and Angular preferred.
  • Web application development includes applications, not just websites.
  • Exposure to database or data storage connectivity.
  • Linux navigation/command line familiarity
  • You’re energetic and eager to contribute, you pick up new concepts quickly, and you have a solid academic foundation in these technical areas
