IT Business Intelligence Analyst / IT BI Analyst

The Short Scoop: My client, a well-established name in their industry, is looking for an IT Business Intelligence Analyst to help turn raw data into the insights that guide real business decisions. You will design dashboards, build data models, and partner directly with stakeholders across the organization, giving leadership a clear, trustworthy view of performance. Location: Bensenville, IL (O’Hare area)

Status: Onsite full-time.

Compensation range $90,000 -$100,000

What You’ll Be Doing

• Partner with stakeholders to define data analytics needs and manage these projects from concept through delivery
• Add new data subjects to the data lake and data warehouse to expand what the business can analyze
• Design reports, dashboards, and visualizations that support both operational and strategic decision-making
• Build data models that empower business analysts to run their own ad hoc analysis independently
• Maintain a clear, well-organized data dictionary so everyone understands what the data actually means
• Recommend the best use of Power BI and the wider Microsoft analytics stack for each business need
• Support training, upgrades, and system migrations, and help keep data secure, accurate, and free of clutter

About You

• Be able to do the job as described
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of experience with Business Intelligence.
• Hands-on skill with 2+ years of experience with Power BI, including data modeling and DAX.
• Any experience with Fabric would be a plus.
• Solid grasp of ETL concepts and star schema data warehouse design
• Background in consumer products, distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain is a welcome plus
