The Short Scoop: Join our client’s growing IT team and become the vital link between business needs and technology solutions for a retail operation spanning 70+ stores nationwide. You’ll test, troubleshoot, and refine the systems that keep stores running smoothly every single day, directly shaping the in-store experience for employees and customers alike.

 Location: Deerfield, IL

Status: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days wfh)

Compensation range $70K – $80K annually

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Preparing and executing test plans, scripts, and QA/UAT/regression testing
  • Diagnosing and documenting software and hardware issues
  • Staging POS registers, servers, workstations, and tablets
  • Joining systems to a domain and supporting AD and local users
  • Providing Level 2 support for escalated issues across retail teams
  • Creating scripts to automate routine processes

About You

  • Be able to do the job as described
  • Comfortable troubleshooting hardware and software independently
  • Experience with POS systems (Xstore preferred), UAT testing, SQL, and PowerShell
  • Willing to travel and work flexible or on-call hours as needed (Limited)
  • Retail experience and familiarity with PCI compliance are a plus
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
