Sr EHS IT Business Systems Analyst

OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:  Our client, an established and successful manufacturing company, is looking for a Sr EHS Business Systems Analyst. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborates with customers and stakeholders to analyze information and business needs to deliver functional and technical requirements to applications development teams along with business solutions to the company 
• Conduct prototypes, developing functional specifications, data mapping, function mapping, setting of configuration tables and setting of transaction/ control tables
• Lead evaluation and implementation of process improvements
• Assists in security/ authorization set-up,  data interface design, data migration, reconciliation and user documentation
• Evaluates information, reconcile conflicts, detail information,  and figure out requirements
• Investigate processes and identify root cause problems
• Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish technical vision
• Act as the liaison between the business units and other teams
• Creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements
• Designs details of automated systems
• Provide technical expertise
• Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements

SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of applications development experience
• Prior experience remotely supporting multiple dispersed plants
• Industry experience from Oil and Gas, Utilities, or Chemicals
• Angular, C#, Kallidus eLearning , Labvantage, Lenel ,Velocity EHS, and SQL server technology experience
• Deep understanding of: incidents, events, observations, management of change Process Hazard Analysis and risk
