This role blends QA, IT support, and a touch of training into one high-impact position that supports retail operations from the tech side. If you enjoy testing, troubleshooting, and finding better ways to make things run, this might be your sweet spot.

Location: Deerfield, IL area

Status: Hybrid, 2/office – 3/WFH

Compensation range: $60,000 – $65,000

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Test new features, bug fixes, and patch releases for the POS system (Xstore)
  • Write and execute test scripts and plans
  • Document bugs and work with developers to resolve issues
  • Support system configuration and OS setup (training provided)
  • Deliver training on new functionality to Helpdesk staff
  • Assist with installation, troubleshooting, and documentation

About You

  • Be able to do the job as described
  • Associate’s degree or higher with 2+ years of troubleshooting network and software
  • Familiar with Active Directory, software installs, and imaging systems
  • Able to write or modify PowerShell scripts (a plus!)
  • Comfortable working in a retail or customer-facing environment
  • Willing to be on call and occasional travel
