OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:  Our client, a fast-growing technology company and a leader in its category, is in an exciting transformative stage and seeking talented Product Managers to join its growing team. This is a great opportunity with a company that is committed to long-term growth, with a focus on leading edge technologies and products.  Must have proven track record of outstanding leadership skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Owns the product scope and feature set
  • Collaborate with customers and stakeholders for  product feedback and include into product scope
  • Manage the product backlog
  • Design and manage Product Release Schedule
  • Leads requirements effort including the responsibility to document Storyboard and Use Case documents
  • Manage the development schedules for product
  • Maintain requirements with other teams
  • Leads the Alpha/Beta and Pre-Production phases of the product delivery process
  • Manage and track requirement status throughout project
  • Collaborate with the Implementation team to schedule resolutions
  • Develop and implement product strategy for business unit product portfolio/category
  • Deliver brand strategy, product portfolio/category management, integrated marketing planning and pricing strategies
  • Drive annual and multi-year operating plans and results for the product portfolio/category, track financial performance; ensure organizational alignment of priorities and goals
  • Support achievement of full P&L objectives for the business unit, driving profitability, volume growth and market share, as well as execution of product and services
  • Establish the product portfolio/category vision in support of the business unit strategy; maintain a clear product roadmap aligned to business goals; emphasis on fast-paced new product development, with hardware/software focus to deliver compelling user experiences
  • Make sure the marketing team has the necessary processes and procedures in place to manage the quality, cost, and delivery of products

SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred with 2+ years experience in product management
  • Experience working with hardware and software offerings, and ability to collaborate with highly technical team
  • Ideally will have IoT connected, smart home products experience
  • Collaborate with customers , executives and  team members
  • Create and manage complex projects. Ideally in an Agile and Matrix environment.
  • Ability to solve problems and pursue opportunities
  • Experience working on products from concept through commercialization
