They are currently looking for an outstanding IT Help Desk. This position is located near the Galesburg, IL area and is on-site.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain, upgrade, and manage all desktop applications
    • Build images and execute deployments using Windows Deployment Services
    • Perform onsite analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of desktop problems for end user including offsite repair for remote users
    • Configure, test, maintain, and troubleshoot end-user workstations and related hardware and software
    • Implement upgrades to PC boxes, including the installation of CPUs, CD-ROMS, I/O and NIC cards, hard disks, hard drives, memory chips, ribbon cables, and RAM
    • Collaborate with LAN technicians, network administrators and system administrators to ensure efficient operation
    • Resolve issues with associated end-user workstation networking software products
    • Receive and respond to incoming calls, helpdesk tickets, and/or e-mails
    • Prepare, maintain, and upholding procedures for logging, reporting, and desktop operations
    • Maintain, upgrade and trouble shoot all laptops, desktops, network, phones and wireless devices
    • Prioritize issues and document resolution
    • Maintain all inventory 
    • 24 hour on call list

SKILLS:

  • Degreed with experience supporting and troubleshooting help desk issues
  • COMPTA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or Vendor End User certifications a plus
  • Proficient in Adobe products, Antivirus, Helpdesk tracking software, IBM Client Access, Microsoft, MACs, VPN Cisco AnyConnect and wireless technology
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
