The Short Scoop: Busy software company is seeking an Accounting Associate. For our client, this person will play a crucial role in the financial and administrative operations of the company. In this position, you will engage directly with the financial leadership and support various accounting functions, including general accounting, payroll, and accounts payable and receivable. This role offers the unique opportunity to impact the client’s financial processes and contribute to their efficiency and success.

Compensation range $65,000- $73,000 annually

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Generating financial documents such as quotes, purchase orders, and invoices.
  • Assisting in both month-end and year-end financial closing procedures.
  • Handling payroll processing and administering employee benefits.
  • Ensuring accuracy in accounts payable and receivable, and financial records.
  • Supporting HR and insurance-related tasks and engaging in special financial reporting projects.

About You

  • Be able to do the job as described.
  • Work with customers, vendors on the phone, and in-house teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel & Word).
  • Proficient with QuickBooks Desktop and Concur.
  • Must be able to work with G Suite.
  • Skilled in managing confidential information with high integrity and discretion.
  • Experience in a similar financial role within the software industry is a plus.
